Peacock Bass Extravaganza: Venture into some of the 20+ the lagoons on the Rio Tuparro, where three species of Peacock await you – massive Three Barred/Speckled Peacocks, Butterfly Peacocks and the stunning-colored Royal Peacocks. These aerial attackers readily succumb to topwater lures like propbaits, walking baits, poppers. And jigs, minnowbaits, glidebaits and jointed lures, spinnerbaits, popping and streamer flies will easily tempt these fierce fighters. *Important Note: To protect the Peacock Bass population, please replace all treble hooks with inline single hooks on ALL lures.
Payara: Set your sights on the legendary Payara, the aptly named “Vampire Fish,” a true apex predator inhabiting the main river and its mysterious depths. Travel Plan
Day 1: TOUR STARTS: Sunday – arrive in El Dorado International Airport in Colombia – transfer to the Black Tower Premium Hotel and overnight.
Day 2: Monday – early transfer to the domestic airport and commercial flight to Puerto Inírida (included). Fast-boat 4h to Santa Rita and 30 mins 4×4 truck drive to the lodge. Get your gear ready for fishing.
Days 3 – 8: Tuesday to Sunday – 6 full days guided fishing
Day 9: Monday – flight back to Bogota and overnight at the hotel
Day 10: Tuesday – onwards journey home – TOUR ENDS
