CAÑO BOCÓN - COLOMBIA
Trip Introduction
Untamed Adventure Awaits: Unlocking Monster Fish in the Caño Bocón
Imagine this: a rustic camp nestled amidst the shade of towering jungle trees, right on the banks of the Caño Bocón River. This isn't just any fishing trip; it's an expedition into the heart of a pristine blackwater fishery, teeming with huge legendary fish waiting to be challenged.
Home to Giants: We offer exclusive access to some of the best Giant Peacock Bass, Payara, and Jatuarana fishing in all of South America. These are trophy fish that will test your skills and leave you breathless. With crystal-clear water, we believe this hidden gem could even produce the next world record Peacock Bass! It holds the largest Peacock Bass in all Colombia.
Prime Time for Epic Battles: The Caño Bocón undergoes a fascinating transformation. As November arrives, water levels drop rapidly, causing the flooded jungle to recede. This creates the perfect conditions for targeting trophy fish. From December to the end of March, the river reveals its secrets, making these elusive giants easier to locate and battle.
Are you ready for an unforgettable adventure? Book your fishing expedition at our rustic Caño Bocón camp and experience the thrill of battling some of South America's most legendary fish!

Payara, Bocón, and the Challenge They Bring:
Payara offer an additional layer of excitement. They’ll readily attack minnow baits, flies, and jigs, sometimes even exploding on topwater lures. The Bocón/Yatouarana/Yamu, will test your casting skills in the faster currents around steep banks and under overhanging trees.
